Fabrication of a Steel X-Ray Inspection Cabinet for the Medical Industry

This custom steel fabrication project was designed for use as an x-ray inspection cabinet for a medical application. The cabinet is 20.86" x 18.50" x 31.27" and fabricated from cold rolled steel. For this project, we sourced the purchased components and hardware desired by the customer and custom fabricated the remaining parts. After parts were fabricated and machined, the cabinet was welded with our TIG welder before final painting and silk screening.
The final cabinet met dimensional tolerances of .010" and underwent dimensional and visual inspection before being shipped complete to our customer in Connecticut. This project had a total turnaround time of 12 weeks.
